Curiosity Radiology Operations Leadership Communication Investigation Follow Through Problem Solving Network Routing Customer Service Technical Issues Business Valuation Workflow Management Imaging Informatics System Implementation Full Stack Development Intellectual Curiosity Business Transformation Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), The Imaging Support Specialist serves as the primary liaison between radiology operations and healthcare technology, supporting radiologists, imaging staff, and clinical teams with imaging workflow and system-related issues. This role is ideal for a Radiology Technologist or imaging professional looking to transition into imaging informatics and healthcare IT.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of radiology workflows, excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a customer-focused mindset. Extensive IT experience is not required. Instead, we are seeking someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and collaborating across clinical and technical teams to improve imaging operations.

Serve as Tier 1 support for radiologists, triaging technical issues and ensuring resolution through proper ticket routing and follow-up.

Round onsite in imaging departments to proactively identify and address workflow or system concerns.

Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis

Monitor and troubleshoot PACS and related imaging systems; escalate issues as needed.

Collaborate with radiology, IS, and biomedical teams to optimize imaging workflows and downtime protocols.

Maintain and manage ticket documentation, ensuring timely resolution and communication with providers.

Assist with workflow optimization projects such as hanging protocol clean-up and downtime planning.
