Data Scientist - AI

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our international HARTING Technology Group. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced AI and machine learning models that drive intelligent, data-driven solutions across our organization. Your work will involve integrating diverse data sources, automating business processes, and generating predictive insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in positioning HARTING as an innovative technology partner on a global scale by leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a modern tech stack, including Databricks, Microsoft Azure, SAP BDC, and AI/ML frameworks, contributing to transformative projects that impact the entire organization., * Develop, deploy, and maintain forecasting, predictive, and classification models on Databricks and Microsoft Azure

• Integrate diverse data sources, including SAP BDC and certified Gold layer tables, as model inputs
• Publish model outputs and insights for Business Intelligence consumption
• Prototype and implement Generative AI solutions for various business applications
• Integrate APIs to enable real-time data enrichment and external data connectivity
• Maintain and operate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to expose enterprise data for AI solutions
• Automate and optimize business processes using Python, ML frameworks, and workflow orchestration tools
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI within cloud-based environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure platforms
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and API integration
• Fluent in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus
