Functional Analyst - S/4HANA Migration

We are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme involving the migration from existing legacy systems into a new SAP S/4HANA landscape.

The role requires a strong functional analyst who can understand existing business processes and data flows, gather and structure business requirements, and support the transition and integration of existing architecture into S/4HANA., * Analyse existing business processes, systems and data flows and identify how they will transition into the new S/4HANA environment.

• Gather, challenge and document business and functional requirements.
• Support S/4HANA migration activities, particularly around data migration, mapping and integration.
• Analyse and help remap data flows between legacy applications and the new SAP landscape.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, IT teams and SAP specialists to translate business needs into structured functional requirements.
• Support the integration of existing applications and architecture with S/4HANA.
• Analyse financial/business processes impacted by the migration.
• Produce clear functional documentation, process documentation and user guides.
• Support stakeholders throughout implementation, migration and transition activities.
• Ensure requirements and documentation are clearly understood across business and technical teams.

This is not a purely SAP technical role. The successful candidate must combine SAP/S/4HANA migration exposure with strong hands-on functional analysis, stakeholder management and documentation skills., * Strong experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst within complex transformation programmes.

• Hands-on experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience producing user guides and functional/process documentation.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working directly with business SMEs and technical teams.
• Experience with SAP migration or transformation programmes.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration is highly desirable.
• Experience with data migration, data mapping and/or master data.
• Understanding of how legacy systems and data flows integrate into an S/4HANA landscape.
• Experience working with financial processes would be advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Previous involvement in a full SAP * S/4HANA transformation or migration.
• Experience remapping legacy data flows and interfaces into S/4HANA.
• Financial services or complex financial-process experience.
• SAP billing knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
