Notes and Atlassian Developer*

The teams in the Service Processes and IT Procurement Coordination division (0511) work together to ensure that the operational capacity of Department GQ 0500 (DRV-IT, DSRV & Services) is maintained from both an organizational and technical perspective. The teams serve as a hub for all internal and external employees of the department and address their key concerns. The diverse services spanning various sub-disciplines are distributed among the Service Team, the Process Service, and the GQ 0500 department’s hotline, as well as the Internal Technical Support (end-user support), the experts for onboarding and offboarding, and the cross-organizational IT procurement coordination. For our IT Services Team, we are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong service orientation and a passion for working with people. You will be responsible for application development for our collaboration tools (HCL Notes and Atlassian). Your Responsibilities

In a position of special trust, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• Independently planning, developing, and testing applications and databases in our collaboration tools (Notes, Atlassian, and others as needed)
• Contributing to the creation of business requirement analyses for high-level and detailed concepts
• Taking into account and maintaining IT security concepts, including documentation for the developed products
• Conducting problem analyses, developing solutions, and implementing and documenting them
• Maintaining existing products and monitoring and tracking the product lifecycle
• Actively shaping and managing assigned tasks with a high standard of service in line with customer requirements
• Participating in internal and cross-organizational specialist and expert groups, To fill this position, we will conduct interviews with shortlisted candidates.

The position requires a willingness to take occasional business trips and participate in training programs/events outside of Würzburg.

• A completed college degree (Bachelor’s degree, university of applied sciences diploma) in the IT field, or a comparable qualification (e.g., as a business administration specialist) in the IT field, or vocational training in IT (specializing in application development) with at least 3 years of relevant practical professional experience
• At least 1 year of job-relevant professional experience in the development of HCL Notes or Atlassian products (e.g., Notes, Leap) or Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
• Ideally, you have knowledge of JavaScript and Java EE
• Basic knowledge of IT-Grundschutz as well as vulnerability and threat modeling is desirable
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken German
• An analytical, structured, and independent work style with a strong service orientation is desirable
