Tanium Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Tanium Engineer to join our client on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the security of a large and complex enterprise environment., This is a hands-on role focused on administering and maintaining Tanium and SentinelOne, working closely with security and IT teams to maintain endpoint visibility, patching, software deployment and overall security.

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key endpoint security platforms, work across a broad technology environment and contribute to ongoing security improvements., As a Tanium Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Administering and maintaining Tanium and SentinelOne across enterprise environments.
• Managing Tanium modules including Asset, Patch, Deploy, Threat Response and Comply.
• Developing dashboards, reports and queries to support security and IT operations.
• Troubleshooting endpoint visibility, patching and software deployment issues.
• Supporting the integration of endpoint security platforms with wider IT and security tooling.
• Monitoring platform performance and maintaining high availability.
• Supporting audits and compliance with internal and external security standards.
• Developing automation and reporting using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams.

• Proven experience administering Tanium in a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Experience with endpoint security products, ideally SentinelOne.
• Strong understanding of endpoint management, cyber security and IT operations.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux and macOS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) certification is desirable.
• Experience working within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), or other highly regulated environments would be beneficial.

This is a UK-based role and applicants must have the full and permanent right to work in the UK.

This is a 6-month FTC requiring attendance once per month at Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Bristol, Cardiff or Warwick. They are offering a total package of between £100,000 - £121,000 on Pro-Rata, there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.
