Junior Data Scientist- Levy - London

We’re looking for a curious and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join E15 Insights, the data and analytics division of Levy UK&I. Working across some of the UK’s most iconic sports, entertainment and event venues, you’ll use data science, machine learning and analytics to solve real-world business challenges and help shape smarter, more effective decisions.

We are a passionate, diverse team of venue specialists dedicated to making the planet better for future generations., As part of E15 Insights, you’ll work collaboratively on a varied range of data science projects, using data from across Levy UK&I to identify opportunities, test hypotheses and create solutions that deliver real-world business value. Your work will span sports stadia, arenas, theatres and other venues, helping to improve operational delivery, enhance consumer experiences and support innovation and investment decisions.

• Create and test hypotheses using data to identify opportunities and optimise business performance
• Collect, clean and explore complex datasets
• Develop, test and maintain machine learning models across a variety of projects
• Apply data science techniques to areas such as revenue forecasting and labour optimisation
• Work alongside the wider data science team to progress projects from research and development through to production
• Take ownership of processes, model training and testing, solving problems independently and effectively
• Analyse data and communicate meaningful insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Identify blockers, opportunities for collaboration and improvements to ways of working
• Keep up to date with the latest AI and data science trends and consider how they could benefit the business
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, learning and innovation

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and keen to turn data into practical solutions.

• Experience using Python for machine learning
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid foundations in statistics, mathematics and/or data science
• Ability to apply data science concepts to real-world business challenges
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar analytical tools is desirable
• A growth mindset and genuine appetite to learn
• A curious approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver to deadlines
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to different audiences
• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to iterate and continuously improve
• A practical, value-focused approach to data, with an understanding of how analytics can support business decisions
