Graduate AI Engineer - Banking Solutions

We are seeking a Graduate AI Engineer (m/f/d) to join our AI innovation team and help shape the next generation of banking products. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered features that enhance our core banking software.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career developer to gain hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies in a real-world enterprise environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product teams, and banking experts to build innovative solutions, transform ideas into working prototypes, and support the delivery of production-ready AI capabilities for customers around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered features for our banking products.
• Participate in the full AI innovation lifecycle, from exploring new ideas and building prototypes to helping deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Work with banking data and business processes to develop AI applications that generate insights, automate tasks, and enhance user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, solution experts, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Learn and apply best practices for developing secure, scalable, and reliable AI applications.
• Assist in integrating AI capabilities with our core banking platforms and enterprise technologies, including SAP-based environments where applicable.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas that help drive innovation across our products.
• Take ownership of development tasks while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering and interest in the consulting business in the area of financial service providers

• Understanding of different approaches to integrate LLMs into enterprise solutions

• Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, R)

• First cloud-native development experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Skilled at translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures
