Requirements

  • Proven experience working within Information Governance, ideally within a Public Sector environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Data Protection legislation, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Experience managing and advising on Freedom of Information (FOI) and Subject Access Request (SAR) processes
  • Experience advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintaining Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
  • Knowledge of information risk management and governance frameworks
  • Ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload independently and effectively
