SAP Data Migration Lead designs

The SAP Data Migration Lead designs, executes, and governs the end-to-end data migration strategy from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. This role ensures data integrity, rigorous quality validation, and seamless business continuity during transition phases.

Strategy & Governance

• Define the overarching data migration strategy, scoping, and execution schedules.
• Establish data governance policies, ownership matrices, and sign-off workflows.
• Manage technical cutover planning and mock data migration cycles.

Data Quality & Validation

• Design automated data profiling, cleansing, and validation rules.
• Construct pre-load and post-load reconciliation reports to verify data completeness.
• Collaborate with business units to remediate data defects prior to production loading.

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience dedicated to SAP data migration.
• Successfully led at least 2 full-lifecycle legacy-to-S/4HANA migration projects.
• Proven background managing cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent comm. skills with ability to lead the conversation

Technical Competencies

• SAP S/4HANA: Deep expertise in S/4HANA data structures, business partners, and financial objects.
• Migration Tools: Mastery of SAP BODS, Information Steward, LTMC, and LTMOM.
• Database & Language: Proficiency in SQL, SAP HANA studio, and legacy data extraction methods.
• Data Validation: Expert knowledge of data quality frameworks and reconciliation modeling
