Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES Acts as the primary support contact for their Epic application in the Ambulatory team.##Designs, builds, and tests the system to achieve workflow requirements to meet end user needs.##Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner. Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor#s degree in information technology or other work related field is required.##Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required.##Experience specifically in Epic Ambulatory applications preferred.##Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.##Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
