Salesforce Architect

We’re looking for a Salesforce Architect to provide technical leadership and shape solution architecture across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems. In this role, you’ll guide design decisions, support delivery teams from discovery through implementation, and help ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs. Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions from early discovery through delivery, helping teams define the right technical approach.
• Design Salesforce solutions across platform capabilities, integrations, data, security, scalability, reliability, and long-term extensibility.
• Establish and communicate architecture direction, guiding principles, standards, and reference patterns.
• Provide governance and oversight to keep solutions aligned with approved architectural direction.
• Create proofs of concept and prototypes to validate feasibility, explore trade-offs, and reduce delivery risk.
• Partner with product, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to resolve dependencies and drive alignment.
• Mentor engineers and architects on architecture practices, platform standards, and solution design.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts such as system context diagrams, integration designs, data flows, and decision records.
• Identify architectural risks and technical debt, and help recommend practical mitigation strategies.
• Define non-functional requirements related to security, performance, recoverability, maintainability, and operational support.
• Support peer reviews, technical escalations, and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure technical decisions are documented clearly and can be supported long term.

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience.
• 3+ years leading solution architecture efforts and providing technical direction across cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience designing integrations, APIs, data flows, and cross-system solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of Lightning Web Components, Apex, Apex Triggers, SOQL, Salesforce DX, REST services, and SOAP services.
• Ability to make thoughtful architecture recommendations by balancing risk, complexity, feasibility, and long-term maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience building alignment across teams and influencing decisions without direct authority.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with Salesforce capabilities and architecture best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of two Salesforce certifications required.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
• Experience defining architecture governance processes, reference patterns, and best practices.
• Background supporting enterprise-scale platforms with multiple integrations and data domains.
• Experience contributing to technical roadmaps and architecture standards.
• Familiarity with financial services processes and related platform needs.
• Strong documentation skills for capturing decisions, assumptions, trade-offs, and implementation guidance.
• Ability to mentor others and support knowledge sharing across teams.
