IT Asset Inventory Associate

Sierra, a division of XYZ Tech Inc. in Chicago, IL, seeks an Early Morning Backroom Associate to support our IT operations. In this role, you’ll receive, inventory, and organize hardware, peripherals, and software assets, ensuring accurate stock levels in our systems. You’ll prepare and stage equipment for deployment, assist with basic imaging and configuration under IT guidance, and maintain secure, orderly storage areas. Working closely with IT and operations teams, you’ll update asset records, process returns, and help streamline logistics, all within a collaborative, innovative environment that supports learning and career growth., * Receive, inspect, and verify incoming IT hardware, peripherals, and software

• Organize and maintain backroom and storage areas for IT assets
• Accurately update inventory and asset management systems
• Prepare and stage equipment for deployment to internal teams
• Assist with basic device imaging and configuration under IT supervision
• Coordinate returns, repairs, and asset disposition per company policy
• Support process improvements in inventory and logistics workflows
