Operations Management InfiniBand SUSE Linux Coordinating File Systems Water Cooling Detail Oriented Lifting Ability Data Management Cooling Systems Technical Support Business Valuation Medical Monitoring Project Coordination Linux Administration Data Center Hardware Full Stack Development Data Center Operations Business Transformation Hardware Troubleshooting High Performance Computing Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), TEKsystems is seeking a HPC Systems Administrator to support ongoing operations within a HPC environment. The role will include both hardware break/fix responsibilities as well as Linux Systems Administration tasks. Responsibilities: * On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure) * Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management * Support for the HPE Data Management Framework (DMF) storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team. * CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting * Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability * Supporting the site admin * Facilitation of weekly operational meetings (Monday’s 12PM) and project coordination - PM role Other details: * 216 Blades (4 Blades per module) * Water cooled * HPE DMF File system * Running multiple Linux OS - RedHat and Suse * Most of the work is keeping the storage system, DMF running o 2 cases open right now to resolve DMF issue * Also, will see occasional issues with tape drives * Occasionally will need to change filter for CDU * Hardware replacements are typically performed by Field CE * InfiniBand troubleshooting will also occasionally be required, Data center,Hardware,Hardware troubleshooting,Infrastructure,Data center maintenance,Linux,Storage,Diagnostics,parallel file systems,parallel storage,HPC,high performance computing, Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates.
