Mid Level Design System Designer

We are seeking a PFMEA Engineer to leverage their manufacturing experience in populating Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs). This role involves cross-functional collaboration with product development teams to integrate design inputs and improve manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Utilize pre-existing manufacturing experience to populate PFMEAs.
• Collaborate with product development to receive design inputs for PFMEAs.
• Locate DFMEAs in the repository and extract severity ratings and failure effects.
• Work with FMA experts to address and correct PFMEA audit discrepancies.
• Assess manufacturing controls to determine if PFMEA detection methods can be improved.
• Upload deviation proofs to systems such as Jira/E2KS and update PFMEAs to standards.
• Obtain supervisor signatures on PFMEAs and upload them to the FEDE workbench., Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates. • Experience with gspas and Teamcenter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and processes in Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
