Lead Analytics Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their established data platform team and support the delivery of production-ready data products within a mature Snowflake environment. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying scalable analytics solutions using Snowflake and dbt while collaborating closely with engineers, business stakeholders, and product teams.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring someone who can quickly become productive within an existing codebase and architecture. The platform, ingestion processes, and tooling are already established, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable contributing immediately with minimal ramp-up time.

6+ years of Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Development experience.

Strong hands on experience with Snowflake in a production environment.

Strong hands on experience with DBT, including model development and testing.

Advanced SQL skills.

Experience with Star Schema/Dimensional Modeling.

Experience working within a Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

Experience using GitHub and CI/CD deployment processes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Snowflake CoCo, etc.)

Experience building AI-powered analytics or agent-based solutions.

Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure SQL experience.

SnowPro Core Certification.

Python scripting experience.
