Enterprise Software Architect

America First Credit Union in Riverdale, UT seeks Enterprise Software Architect. Design, develop, and lead enterprise integration and API management solutions using IBM API Connect, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM DataPower. Define enterprise level integration architecture standards, design scalable integration frameworks, and provide technical leadership to development teams. Manage the full API lifecycle including requirements analysis, API design, development, deployment, versioning, governance, monitoring, and retirement. Develop RESTful APIs using Open API specifications and enforce best practices for API design and documentation. Configure API gateway policies including authentication, authorization, traffic management, throttling, logging, and analytics. Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, mutual TLS, and certificate based authentication. Design and develop integration message flows using IBM ACE, including routing, transformation, mediation, and exception handling. Perform data transformations using ESQL, Java, XPath, and XSLT. Configure and manage IBM DataPower services including multiprotocol gateways, XML firewalls, and backend integrations. Implement protocol mediation across REST, SOAP, MQ, and file based systems. Support hybrid and cloud integration platforms including on premise, OpenShift, and Kubernetes based deployments. Collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions. Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Review integration designs and code for compliance with architecture, security, and performance standards. Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions for integration platforms. Perform performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration components. Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration design specifications. Support CI/CD automation for integration deployments and mentor junior integration engineers. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance to the office.

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience (post-progressive) in the job offered or a related field. Must possess experience with (i) building mission-critical software systems in financial services; (ii) languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Java, and IBM’s ESQL; (iii) Relational and NoSQL databases;(iv) IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM API Connect, & DataPower; (v) APIs, web servers, microservices, and web hooks; (vi) Architecture, design, & management, using ACE and APIC; (vii) API security including OAuth2, TLS, and API Keys and OWASP vulnerabilities; (viii) SOAP and REST APIs, using XML and JSON; (ix) DevOps technology and practices such as Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Monitoring using Jenkins, Ansible, and Nexus; (x) Software life cycle, management, and documentation, using Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GIT repository; and (xi) inwriting, reviewing, and documenting code. Must be IBM API Connect - Solution Implementer certified and WebSphere Message Broker, IIB, or ACE certified. Employer will accept three or four year degree.
