Sr. Backend Engineer (Rust/AWS)

This engineer will own backend delivery and contribute directly to developing new product functionality, features, and enhancements.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on execution and delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced backend engineer who can independently design, build, and support services while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Internal Note: This role is significantly more Rust-focused than the Platform Engineer role and is centered on product feature development.

o Strong Rust development experience

o Backend application development experience

o Experience building APIs and microservices

o Experience working in AWS environments

o Ability to independently own product development work, feature development, etc. Pluses

o JavaScript, Node.js, Python

o Experience with web applications

o Experience supporting shared services architectures
