Backup Solutions Architect

The Senior Backup Solutions Architect will design and improve enterprise data protection, replication, and disaster recovery. This hands-on role combines architecture with implementation and troubleshooting across Commvault, HPE Zerto, virtual infrastructure, databases, and cloud workloads., * Architect backup and recovery across VMware, Windows, Linux, AIX, HP-UX, and network-attached storage (NAS).

• Design end-to-end replication and disaster recovery solutions using HPE Zerto.
• Configure and troubleshoot Commvault SaaS protection for Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Protect Azure virtual machines and Blob Storage; Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2, EFS, and S3; and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) virtual machines.
• Configure IntelliSnap to support high-speed backup and restore operations.
• Manage database protection for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement immutable cloud storage with write once, read many (WORM) configurations in Commvault across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Support Commvault Hyperscale appliances, virtual tape libraries (VTL), tape libraries, and Auto Recovery for VMware and cloud integrations.
• Maintain storage and schedule policies, auxiliary copies, and deduplication database (DDB) backups; automate operational tasks with PowerShell.

• At least 5 years with HPE Zerto.
• At least 5 years using Commvault Command Center and CommCell Console.
• At least 5 years developing PowerShell scripts for task automation.
• At least 5 years protecting large-scale VMware environments.
• At least 5 years creating and managing storage policies, schedule policies, auxiliary copies, and DDB backups.
• At least 5 years working with cloud providers AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
• Practical expertise across the Commvault SaaS, IntelliSnap, database, immutable-storage, appliance, tape, and Auto Recovery capabilities described above, together with native cloud backup configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field, or additional qualifying experience substituted year for year.
