You will build and maintain integrations using Boomi AtomSphere across EDI, API, and application integration patterns, connecting trading partners, ERP platforms, Procure-to-Pay solutions, and Vizient applications. You will design and develop data transformations, integration processes, APIs, and connectivity solutions using technologies such as X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat files, REST APIs, SOAP services, AS2, and SFTP. You will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, software vendors, and trading partners to deliver reliable, scalable integration solutions while supporting modernization efforts through automation, monitoring, reusable integration patterns, and emerging integration capabilities, * Design, develop, test, deploy, and support EDI, API, and enterprise integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.

• Develop and maintain Boomi processes, maps, data transformations, workflows, and integration components.

• Design integration solutions supporting X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API, and application integration requirements.

• Translate business, technical, and trading partner requirements into scalable integration solutions.

• Develop data transformation and orchestration processes that validate, route, enrich, and deliver data across multiple systems.

• Support onboarding and implementation of new trading partners, including requirements gathering, mapping, testing, connectivity, and production deployment.

• Establish and maintain secure connectivity solutions using AS2, SFTP, APIs, web services, and related technologies.

• Design, consume, and support REST and SOAP API integrations across internal and external platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving mapping, connectivity, data quality, APIs, and transaction processing.

• Develop reusable integration frameworks, templates, and patterns that improve scalability, consistency, and maintainability.

• Support integration monitoring, logging, exception handling, observability, and operational support processes.

• Collaborate with business teams, developers, architects, vendors, and customers to implement effective integration solutions.

• Evaluate and leverage automation and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Participate in Tier 2 support activities and on-call rotations supporting Vizient’s eCommerce Exchange environment.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• 5 or more years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting EDI, API, and enterprise integration solutions required.

• Hands-on experience developing, configuring, deploying, and supporting integrations using Boomi AtomSphere required.

• Experience developing Boomi maps and processes supporting X12 EDI, XML, JSON, flat-file, API, and application integrations required.

• Strong experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, and exception handling required.

• Solid understanding of EDI transaction processing, trading partner onboarding, acknowledgments, envelopes, and transaction lifecycle management required.

• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats including X12 EDI, XML, JSON, and flat files required.

• Experience implementing and supporting secure communication protocols such as AS2 and SFTP required.

• Experience designing, consuming, implementing, or supporting REST and SOAP web services required.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across integrations, applications, APIs, and external trading partner environments preferred.

• Experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, or similar technologies within integration environments preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to independently manage integration projects from requirements through deployment and support.

• Experience supporting production environments and resolving integration incidents in complex enterprise ecosystems.

• This position is a hybrid, based in our Dallas (Irving, TX) office; 3 days / week in office, 2 days can be virtual.

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
