Job description

OhioHealth is seeking an Epic Senior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team supporting our statewide healthcare network. In this role, you will lead the analysis, design, configuration, and optimization of Epic applications to enhance clinical and business workflows across our hospitals and ambulatory sites. You will partner closely with clinicians and operational leaders to translate requirements into secure, reliable Epic solutions, manage upgrades and integrations, and provide advanced troubleshooting and on-call support. Collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into Epic solutions
Configure, test, and validate Epic enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
Troubleshoot complex Epic issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes
Develop documentation, training materials, and provide end-user support and education
Ensure data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance across Epic systems
Participate in on-call rotation and provide advanced production support
Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and adoption of Epic best practices

Requirements

Epic application configuration (e.g., Epic
Care, Ambulatory, Inpatient, or Revenue Cycle modules)
Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar, Clarity/Caboodle concepts)
Healthcare workflow analysis and process redesign
Requirements gathering and technical specifications writing
Systems integration (interfaces, HL7/FHIR concepts)
SQL or data querying for validation and analysis
Testing methodologies and change management in healthcare ITIncident, problem, and release management tools (e.g., Service
Now)
Regulatory and compliance awareness (HIPAA, security best practices)
