Data Engineer

The company is a growing veterinary and animal-health organisation that is expanding its data team and are looking for a data engineer to join them. The role has a strong focus on Databricks, Python, SQL, and cloud-based data engineering, with plenty of scope to work on modern data architecture and large-scale data pipelines.

You’d be involved in:

• Building and optimising scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Working with Databricks and Apache Spark to process and transform data.
• Developing cloud-based data lakes, warehouses, and modern data platforms.
• Integrating data from APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and other systems.
• Developing data models to support analytics, reporting, forecasting, and AI initiatives.
• Improving data quality, monitoring, governance, and overall platform reliability.
• Working closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

They’re ideally looking for someone with 2-5 years of Data Engineering experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and hands-on experience with technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Azure/AWS/GCP, dbt, Airflow, or Microsoft Fabric.

The package includes:

• Up to €6,000 gross/month, depending on experience.
• Company car or mobility budget.

• Clear progression towards Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Tech Lead.
