Senior Ai Software Engineer

At HP SCDS, we’re looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to help drive the evolution of an AI-powered agentic solution used by HP Product Managers to explore business data and knowledge, generate insights, and accelerate decision-making.If you’re passionate about software engineering, excited by real-world AI applications, and motivated to build scalable solutions with global impact, we’d love to hear from you.What will you do?Design, develop, and evolve agentic AI capabilities for an enterprise-scale AI assistant.Develop and integrate agent skills, reasoning workflows, MCP tools, and AI-powered services.Design and implement backend services and APIs that support AI capabilities across the platform.Drive technical decisions related to architecture, scalability, and platform evolution.Ensure reliability, maintainability, and software quality throughout the solution lifecycle.What are we looking for?5+ years of experience in software development.Strong software engineering fundamentals and backend development experience.Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Node.js, React, modern API development, and cloud-native architectures.Experience developing production-grade applications and integrating AI-powered capabilities.Knowledge and practical experience, or a strong interest, in agentic AI solutions, including AI agents, prompts, skills, reasoning workflows, and MCP tools.Professional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders in a global environment.Experience building AI agents or agentic AI applications in production environments will be highly valued.Nice to have experience with LLMs, RAG, knowledge grounding, and frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph, or LangChain.Experience developing agent skills, MCP tools, or tool-calling capabilities is a plus.Product-oriented mindset focused on delivering real business value.Strong sense of ownership, autonomy, and execution.Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and practical AI adoption.What do we offer?You’ll join an international team developing innovative solutions with real impact across HP products and business processes.We offer a collaborative, dynamic, and stable environment where continuous learning, professional growth, and exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies are part of everyday life.Private health insurance Annual performance bonus …and much more!Work model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)#J-*****-Ljbffr
