Requirements

Strong Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js experience
AWS knowledge, including Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, and EC2
Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
Hands-on use of AI/LLM tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot
Ability to own features end-to-end and work with distributed teams
Experience working in financial services, customer-facing digital platforms, a product environment, KYC, or highly regulated firms
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience is desired
AWS certification is desired
Experience with observability and monitoring tools is desired

About the company

We are a global investment management firm hiring an Application Engineer to join our Europe FAS Engineering team in London on a hybrid basis. The role offers a salary of £60k-£80k, a 20% bonus, a £10.5k guaranteed bonus, and a 14% pension. You will help build and enhance digital platforms that support client onboarding and customer journeys across Europe, working with modern frontend, backend, cloud, and AI-assisted technologies.
