Job description
- Design and build analytical data models (fact and dimension tables) in Snowflake that the business can rely on
- Develop and optimise pipelines and transformations that bring data from operational systems into the analytics environment
- Build Power BI dashboards that make sustainability performance clear to non-technical colleagues
- Create lightweight analytical tools, such as Streamlit apps, for scenario analysis and deeper exploration
- Own data quality, documentation and traceability across your data products
- Work within the Data Team’s DevOps rhythm, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and solution design
- Support colleagues across Compliance, Finance and Procurement with their data needs
Requirements
- Experience in analytics engineering, data analysis or a similar role that bridges engineering and analytics
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with data modelling and pipeline development
- A track record of delivering Power BI reporting for non-technical users
- The ability to turn business questions into well-defined metrics, and to explain data clearly to anyone
- Experience balancing project delivery with business-as-usual reporting
- A genuine passion for sustainability challenges like climate change, waste and modern slavery
Nice to have
- Experience with Streamlit or similar app-building tools, or with reverse-ETL
- Exposure to ESG or regulatory reporting data
- A degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
