Data Analyst

The Data Analyst collects, validates, analyzes, and visualizes data from multiple systems to support operations, capacity planning, budgeting, projects, compliance, and executive reporting. This role defines trusted metrics, automates recurring reports, identifies trends, and communicates practical recommendations., * Partner with Operations, Development, Finance, IT, OT, and other teams to define reporting and data requirements.

• Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Excel, Power Query, and approved analytics tools.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports.
• Analyze trends, variances, risks, and performance drivers, and recommend practical actions.
• Support data center analysis across capacity, energy, incidents, maintenance, assets, projects, budgets, vendors, and service performance.
• Validate data, resolve discrepancies, document assumptions, and implement quality checks.
• Maintain business metrics, data dictionaries, calculation logic, and reporting procedures.
• Automate recurring data preparation and reporting to reduce manual effort.
• Present findings clearly to technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
• Follow CloudHQ security, privacy, access control, and data-handling requirements.
• Support analytics projects, testing, process improvements, and new reporting capabilities., * Deliver accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting.
• Increase stakeholder adoption and trust in dashboards and defined metrics.
• Reduce manual reporting effort through repeatable automation.
• Improve data completeness, consistency, traceability, and documentation.
• Translate analysis into measurable operational or business improvements.

Working Conditions

• Work in an office or hybrid environment, based on business needs.
• Travel occasionally to CloudHQ data center campuses.
• Provide limited after-hours support for critical reporting deadlines or operational events.
• Comply with confidentiality, information security, and site access requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, information systems, business, engineering, finance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Three to five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, common table expressions, and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data transformation.
• Ability to clean and reconcile data from multiple systems and explain findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting business logic, and managing multiple priorities independently.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with close attention to accuracy., * Experience with data center, facilities, energy, construction, infrastructure, or other mission-critical operational data.
• Experience with Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, data warehouses, APIs, ETL/ELT workflows, or cloud analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of Python, R, PowerShell, or another language used for analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with forecasting, anomaly detection, or predictive analytics.
• Experience with BMS, EPMS, DCIM, CMMS, asset management, service management, finance, or project management data.
• Understanding of data governance, role-based access, change control, and ISO 27001 or SOC practices.
• Microsoft Power BI or Tableau Data Analyst certification or a comparable credential.
