Job description

Senior Infrastructure SME leading Azure/Windows modernization, infrastructure integration, technical sequencing, dependency management, architecture, implementation readiness, and escalations., * Lead infrastructure workstream for dependency-driven migration.

Design and maintain Azure/Windows Server target architecture, networking, security, and DR.
Plan technical sequencing for provisioning, hardening, identity, networking, testing, cutover, rollback, and handoff.
Lead infrastructure inventory and dependency analysis across servers, applications, databases, middleware, certificates, DNS, and networks.
Oversee Azure subscriptions, VNets/subnets, segmentation, routing, security controls, hybrid connectivity, and administrative access.
Lead Azure Site Recovery design, configuration, and recovery testing.
Oversee middleware, certificates, TLS, endpoint security, and configuration remediation.
Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Database, Development, ICAM, DNS, DMZ, and other teams.
Provide technical leadership for CCBs, readiness reviews, maintenance windows, implementations, and escalations.
Review runbooks, technical documentation, test evidence, rollback plans, and operational handoff materials.

Requirements

8+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, systems integration, or technical leadership.
Strong Azure infrastructure experience: subscriptions, VNets, hybrid connectivity, security, and governance.
Strong Windows Server, enterprise hosting, middleware, DNS, certificates, firewall, and network troubleshooting experience.
Experience with production/non-production network segmentation.
Experience with disaster recovery and Azure Site Recovery.
Strong change control, implementation planning, risk management, and technical QA experience.

Preferred:

Federal/regulated environment and ATO experience.
AZ-305 or equivalent Azure architecture experience.
OpenText or similar enterprise systems.
Entra ID, Azure SQL MI, customer-managed keys, and Zero Trust.
Formal CCB and maintenance-window experience
