Job description

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture tailored to the needs of the P&C insurance business.
Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and IT teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
Evaluate Tool & technologies, run proof of concept and propose technology options and solutions to the client.
Lead the modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Define data integration strategies across internal systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) and third-party data providers (e.g., ISO, LexisNexis).
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
Be a key player in transforming the data landscape, drive adoption of AI within the technical team

Requirements

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Experience with cloud data platforms ( AWS Glue, Snowflake).
Proficiency in ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing, data modeling
Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, Informatica, Datastage, AWS Glue, Snowflake
Must have led hands on experience with modern data platforms.
Well versed with Gen AI terminology and implemented cases with Gen AI in SDLC and Data platforms.
Familiarity with insurance core systems, * Consulting mindset
Ability to drive decisions
Able to work with cross functional teams across geographies
