Description: We are looking for a Software Engineer with innovative and entrepreneur mindset who wants to be part of a software product development team of multidisciplinary professionals in the framework of the industrial Your RoleAs a Software Engineer you will be responsible for extending and evolving the Omron Software Platform.Descubra si esta oportunidad es adecuada para usted leyendo toda la información que sigue a continuación.You will join our Development team located in Barcelona with the mission to develop Drives Configuration and Programming software in the industrial automation field.You will work closely with other software engineers, test engineers, application engineers and you will be part of a global development team and take full responsibility for the product development.Duties and Responsibilities:Transform requirements into software specificationsTranslate software specifications into Features and User StoriesDesign and implement the functionality for the requirementsParticipate in code/design reviews and continuous improvementInteract with stakeholders to improve the quality of the productProvide influence on schedule, feature, and product designsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issuesEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the softwareAcquire and implement knowledge on new technology relevant for OmronAchieve the best products in the market with passionRequired Skills andExperience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong ownership across the full software development lifecycle (from design to post-release), following best practices used in top-tier tech companies.Strong expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem: C#, .NET, and desktop application development (WPF is a plus).Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles, clean architecture, and scalable system design.Proven experience applying design patterns, writing maintainable code, and performing high-quality code reviews and unit testing.Experience working in modern engineering environments using practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, and collaborative development workflows.Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and distributed systems concepts.Experience or exposure to modern front-end technologies, especially React, and integration with backend services.Comfortable working with modern development tools and approaches (e.G., AI-assisted development / Copilots, “vibe coding” practices, rapid prototyping).Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.The knowledge and/or experience of any of the following would be desirable: -Industrial Automation knowledge (PLC, Motion Control, Inverter, Servo, etc.) -Experience in web/mobile developmentWe are not looking for perfect candidates, people who tick all our boxes.xqysrnhBut we are looking for the right candidates; individuals we feel canassure our customers success.We need people with character, positively minded who are confident of themselves and who can justify their confidence to us.Working day type :Jornada CompletaCountry: EspañaProvince: BARCELONA
