Software Engineer

You will act as an embedded developer/general-purpose CNO software engineer for up-and-coming projects where you will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions to provide mission-centric results. You will work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists and other software engineers to provide mission tactical support. This fast-paced and dynamic environment demands a flexible, highly-motivated engineer with a strong desire to learn new skills and tackle evolving challenges that are critical to national security. Responsibilities

• Augment existing tool sets.
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
• Produce end tool sets that can operate within mission constraints.
• Be able to work with customer leadership to build relationships to help enable and improve mission success.

Required:

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 12 yrs., B.S. or 10 yrs. w/ M.S., 4 yrs. of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Proven experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Experience with developing CNO specific software in Linux/Windows/Embedded applications.
• Experience with Reverse Engineering, especially with Ghidra.
• Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python.
• Provide support for fielded software systems.
• Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Be willing to learn new technologies and systems to meet mission objectives.

• Extensive experience working directly with mission-focused customers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand sophisticated dataflows and automation concepts.
• Experience guiding system development through engineering management plans.
• Experience with Apache NiFi
• Experience defining system, functional, and component-level requirements.
• Hands on experience automating test cases using software tools and systems.
• Experience working in an agile, continuous delivery environment.
• Exposure to operational scenario support and transitions to production environments.
• Experience monitoring deployed systems, dataflows, and tool performance.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $113,200 - $237,800
