Change Control Analyst

We are seeking a Change Control Analyst to manage and coordinate engineering change activities for North American vehicle programs. The role will support the change process from Freeze Design Intent (FDJ) through OKTB, ensuring Engineering Change Requests (CRs) are accurately reviewed, approved, released, and implemented on schedule.

The analyst will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, program management, finance, plant teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to maintain program timing, cost, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead WERS Change Control and CPE DF meetings, including agendas, action items, and follow-ups.
• Review and validate Engineering Change Requests for accuracy, completeness, timing, and cost.
• Guide engineers through WERS CR creation, C-Screen/D-Screen approvals, release intent, and authorization processes.
• Coordinate with VO, PVT, PM, Finance, PPM, manufacturing, and plant teams to obtain required approvals.
• Manage change implementation from initiation through production release.
• Track CR status, aging, throughput, and approval bottlenecks; escalate issues that may impact program timing.
• Confirm cost and timing containment and ensure changes are aligned with vehicle build requirements.
• Prepare CR night letters, status reports, PO/TO metrics, and program performance updates.
• Use Teamcenter to review engineering documentation, part information, BOMs, and release-related data.
• Support continuous improvement of the change control and release management process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with WERS and engineering change management.
• Working knowledge of WERS CR creation, C/D screens, release intent, and approval routing.
• Experience with Teamcenter/Team Center and engineering/release data.
• Understanding of engineering release and production release processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, sorting, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• High sense of urgency and ability to identify and escalate issues quickly.

Preferred

• Automotive/vehicle development experience.
• Experience supporting vehicle programs through production/OKTB.
• Experience working with engineering, manufacturing plants, and vehicle line teams.
• Experience tracking change metrics and program performance.
