Real World Data Programmer

Real World Data Programmer At ICON Strategic Solutions, you will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON’s global expertise. We are seeking a remote Real-World Data (RWD) Programmer / Data Analyst for our LVA research and evidence capabilities team with strong healthcare data experience to support internal research initiatives. This role is programming-focused and requires hands-on experience working with healthcare claims data and EMR data. The ideal candidate is a data programmer, not a biostatistician or data scientist, with deep experience preparing and programming real-world datasets for research use. What You Will Do: You will provide programming, and analytics support for real world evidence generation including analytics, research, dashboard creation etc. While project scope is still evolving, expected responsibilities include:

• Programming and managing real-world healthcare datasets, including:

• Healthcare claims data

• EMR data

• Performing data cleaning, transformation, and normalization prior to analysis
• Translating raw data into analysis-ready datasets
• Creating and maintaining data dictionaries and programming documentation
• Supporting internal research teams with hands-on analyst and programming support
