Job description

Capgemini is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning, Time Series Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will develop advanced analytical models, build data pipelines, and deliver actionable business insights using modern AI and analytics technologies.

Your Role

  • Develop machine learning and predictive analytics models.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources.
  • Develop time series forecasting and statistical models.
  • Create dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Utilize Python, PyTorch, C++, SQL, Snowflake, and Google Cloud for analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Perform model testing, validation, and performance optimization.
  • Support data quality, governance, and AI/ML deployment initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Analytics.
  • Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, SQL, and C++.
  • Experience with Time Series modeling and forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
  • Experience with machine learning model development and deployment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $43,984 to $105,600

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
