Warehouse Systems Implementation Manager for Stellar Snacks is hiring a Warehouse Systems Implementation Manager to lead the rollout of a new warehouse management system (WMS) and the process redesign that goes with it. • 5+ years in warehouse operations, supply chain, or logistics, with at least one full WMS implementation led or co-led \n

• Hands-on experience with a major WMS platform (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Körber/HighJump, or Infor) \n

• Working knowledge of ERP integration (orders, inventory, EDI) \n

• Comfortable running cross-functional projects with IT, operations, and vendor teams \n

• Experience in food, beverage, or CPG distribution a strong plus (lot tracking, FEFO, allergen handling) \n

• ASCM/APICS certification (CSCP or CLTD) or PMP a plus, not required \n

• Experience overseeing outbound shipping or transportation operations, including carrier management \n

• Familiarity with DOT and food-safety-in-transit requirements a plus \n

• Once the system is live, this role typically gains 1-3 direct reports - commonly a Shipping Supervisor and a WMS Administrator/Analyst - and works closely with warehouse operations, IT, customer service, and the transportation/logistics team. \n

What you’ll do

• Lead requirements gathering and process design for receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping workflows \n

• Own WMS configuration and coordinate with the software vendor’s implementation team \n

• Manage integration between the WMS and our ERP, including inventory, order, and lot/expiration data \n

• Design the slotting plan and location structure, including FEFO logic for expiration-sensitive SKUs and allergen-clean pick paths \n

• Plan and run data migration (SKUs, locations, inventory) and user acceptance testing \n

• Build and deliver training for warehouse staff, including a super-user program \n

• Plan and execute the go-live cutover, including a hypercare support period \n

• Track post-launch KPIs (inventory accuracy, fill rate, pick accuracy, labor productivity) and drive continuous improvement \n

• Own the transition from project mode to steady-state system ownership after go-live \n

• Take ongoing oversight of shipping and outbound fulfillment operations post-launch (see below) \n

Post-Launch: Shipping & Fulfillment Oversight

• Once the WMS is live, this role takes ongoing responsibility for the shipping function, not just the systems behind it: \n

• Oversee daily outbound shipping operations - staffing, scheduling, and load planning \n

• Own on-time, in-full (OTIF) shipment performance and carrier scorecards \n

• Manage carrier and freight broker relationships, including rate negotiation and service reviews \n

• Ensure shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, customs paperwork where applicable) is accurate and compliant \n

• Coordinate with customer service and sales on order promise dates and escalations \n

• Monitor freight cost per shipment/case and identify savings opportunities \n

• Maintain DOT and food-safety-in-transit compliance for outbound loads \n

• Continue tuning WMS-driven shipping \n
