Front-End Developer

The Front-End Software Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the client-side components of web and mobile applications. This role focuses on creating intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a strong focus on customer needs, user experience, and continuous improvement., * Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, user pain points, and application requirements, ensuring a user-centered development approach.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy front-end solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and development best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, back-end developers, architects, and other cross-functional team members.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions to validate new features and functionality.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Develop and execute functional, automated, and user interface testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and optimize application performance to improve usability and responsiveness.
• Implement modern front-end technologies and development practices to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility requirements, SEO best practices, and responsive design principles.
• Design and deliver engaging, interactive user experiences aligned with enterprise branding standards and design systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in front-end development and user experience design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with front-end web technologies including:
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• React and/or Angular
• Understanding of responsive web design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and automated testing practices.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems concepts.
• Basic understanding of database technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise-level web applications.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools and prototyping platforms.
• Exposure to cloud-based application development and deployment environments.
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques., * Bachelor’s Degree required.
