Director, SAP Basis IT Systems

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits seeks a Director SAP Basis to lead the strategy, design, and operations of our SAP landscapes supporting wholesale distribution. You will oversee system architecture, installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and security for SAP S/4HANA and related systems, ensuring high availability and compliance. Partner with IT, supply chain, and finance to align SAP solutions with business goals, manage vendors, and guide a Basis team through best practices, automation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, people-first culture., * Own SAP Basis strategy, roadmap, and standards for enterprise SAP landscapes.

• Lead SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching across environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of SAP and HANA systems.
• Oversee SAP security, compliance, user administration, and audit readiness.
• Manage transport management, change control, and incident/problem resolution.
• Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and operations to align SAP with business needs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SAP Basis team.
• Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements, and managed services.
• Implement monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to IT strategy, budgeting, and long-term platform planning.
