Application Developer - Senior

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Senior Application Developer to build enterprise-scale software solutions from requirements developed with Business Analysts for a potential opportunity. The Application Developer will work within the organization’s application development framework. This role collaborates with Business Analysts to meet client goals and with Systems Architects to develop and implement third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries. The developer applies project-specific tools and techniques to deliver web, API, and mobile capabilities across all task areas. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity supporting a federal customer., * Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications that fulfill documented business requirements and client goals.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and translate business needs into working software within the organization’s application development framework.
• Work directly with Systems Architects to select, develop, and implement third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries.
• Develop web-based and mobile solutions using project-appropriate technologies, including Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST APIs, and web-based APIs.
• Build and integrate APIs that support low-code and no-code development platforms and related application workflows.
• Use business process modeling notation (BPMN) models and low-code/no-code tools to develop application and process automation solutions.
• Apply agile and hybrid low-code development practices, and use the tools and techniques selected for each project. *

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (Sec+CE)
• SAFe Agile certification or an industry-recognized equivalent certification., * At least five years of total work experience in software development.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using relevant web, API, and mobile technologies, including Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Experience with APIs that support low-code/no-code development platform models.
• Experience using low-code/no-code BPMN tools to model business processes and develop application or process automation software.
• Experience with low-code tools such as Appian, Salesforce, or Nintex, together with Microsoft SQL Server databases and the Microsoft .NET development environment.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Minimum Education

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Salary range $120,000 to $175,000 annually The salary range is a general guideline. We consider several factors when determining base salary offers, including the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, and skills, and current market conditions.
