Full Stack Engineer

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications and services using Java and Spring
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices
• Analyse technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable software solutions
• Develop and maintain applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA and related Java technologies
• Design and implement integrations with databases, external systems and APIs
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Write and optimise SQL queries and support database-related development activities
• Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using technologies such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect and JWT
• Develop and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes
• Implement unit, integration and automated tests to ensure software quality
• Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve technical issues across development and integration environments
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and other technical teams
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of software architecture and technical solutions
• Work with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or equivalent, when applicable
• Support the integration of backend services within large-scale enterprise information systems
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation and technical discussions
• Ensure that developed solutions follow security, quality and development standards
• Work collaboratively within an international, multicultural and multilingual environment

• Strong professional experience in Java backend development in complex IT environments
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and backend services
• Good knowledge of JEE / Java EE and enterprise application development
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with database queries and data models
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with unit and integration testing, using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect and/or JWT
• Experience working with authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Experience with messaging technologies, such as Kafka or equivalent, is a plus
• Experience with WebLogic and/or other Java application servers is a plus
• Experience with API management, API gateways and API testing tools is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure or equivalent, is a plus
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean coding practices
• Experience working with large-scale information systems and enterprise environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute with minimal supervision
