Solution Architect

As an enthusiastic Solutions Architect you will utilise your passion for web and software development, integration and architecture. Thanks to your technical knowledge, you are capable of managing a software or integration issue from concept to realization. You keep your (technical) knowledge up to date, are eager to develop new skills, take initiative and are highly customer oriented. As a Solutions Architect, you realize various projects as part of a team. These projects vary from expansions of our niche solutions for IoT, Telecoms and Customer Loyalty to integration issues for application landscapes of large and very large companies. You will work closely with with the developers and consultants to achieve technically sound and enterprise-grade solutions for a range of issues. You are also a source of information to help find solutions for various technical challenges. As such, you devise reference architecture, reference code and proof-of-concepts that the developers can use as templates for good solutions for various problems. Responsibilities:

• Now and then, you pick up a pull request to safeguard code quality;
• You advise architects, IT managers and product owners of (potential) customer companies on how the portfolio can best be applied and how IT issues can best be solved;
• You assess whether new technology and/or cloud technology could benefit the organisation or their customers and, if so, how;
• You assess pre-sale issues for feasibility in terms of cost and time;
• As the technically minded person that you are, you conduct pre-sales talks with potential customers together with a sales consultant.

You are accurate, have good communication skills and, perhaps most important of all, a sense of humor. You are also very interested in technological innovation and developments in your field. The technology stack that the company uses for its niche solutions is .NET / SQL Server based. The aim is to deliver this as SaaS as possible. Azure plays a key role in this. Knowledge of Azure and/or the will to acquire/broaden such knowledge is a plus. For our integration projects, we use low/no-code solutions, which preferably also operate in the Cloud (iPaas). Knowledge of cloud-based solutions for Storage, Guaranteed Message Delivery, Load Balancing and Redundancy, for example, and the will to acquire or expand such knowledge is a plus. You have the following:

• High level of professional and intellectual ability;
• At least 2 years of relevant experience and/or work experience as an architect;
• Knowledge of and experience with the Microsoft.NET platform, and specifically C# and ASP.NET and/or .NET Core;
• Knowledge of related techniques: REST, Open API Spec (Swagger), SOAP, HTTP, SQL Server, Azure, Cloud, Message Queuing, SOLID design principles.
