Job description

1 min read A senior opportunity for an experienced Delphi developer ready to combine hands-on technical ownership with real mentoring and team leadership. You’ll maintain and enhance a large-scale, business-critical enterprise application used by clients globally - while actively raising the capability of the wider team around you. The Role

Maintain and enhance a mission-critical Delphi application; diagnose and resolve complex defects
Act as technical mentor - coaching developers, sharing knowledge, raising team capability
Lead on planning, estimating and reviewing development work
Guide best practice on secure coding, documentation and QA
Liaise with business users, QA and infrastructure teams as senior technical contact
Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects

Requirements

10+ years’ commercial Delphi (XE2, XE10+)
10+ years’ Transact-SQL / MS SQL Server
3+ years’ .NET C# ideally
Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams
Experience with legacy, undocumented systems
Agile/Waterfall/hybrid delivery experience
Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Role is hybrid with Monday and Wednesday in the office.
