Deliver elegant, idiomatic solutions in Kotlin or Java

Requirements

Strong commercial Kotlin or JVM-based engineering experience, with willingness to work with Kotlin
Ability to write simple, clean code
Experience and understanding of databases; relational databases are a must, and NoSQL would be nice too
Ability to quickly understand complex financial business domains
Ability to understand different software architectures rapidly
Understanding of abstraction and interpolation
Ability to write comprehensive automated tests at all levels of the pyramid
Understanding of the Kanban agile methodology is preferred, but not essential
Ability to get along with others and build relationships
Willingness to continually learn, improve, and collaborate
Ability to solve problems independently and know when to ask peers for help
Rational thinking and awareness of the reasons behind work approaches
Pragmatic mindset with the ability to weigh trade-offs between code quality and delivery
