Telecommunications Manager

Adroit Partners is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Manager to support the telecommunications operations of a large, multi-location organization. This position will oversee telecommunications services, systems, vendors, and day-to-day operational support while ensuring reliable communication services across corporate and field locations., * Manage and oversee day-to-day telecommunications operations and services across multiple locations.

• Lead telecommunications projects, including system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage relationships with telecommunications carriers, service providers, and technology vendors.
• Monitor telecommunications services and troubleshoot escalated issues to ensure reliable and consistent service.
• Oversee voice, data, wireless, cellular, conferencing, and other telecommunications services as applicable.
• Coordinate service installations, moves, adds, changes, and disconnects across multiple business locations.
• Review telecommunications invoices, contracts, service agreements, and usage to identify discrepancies and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain telecommunications standards, procedures, documentation, and service records.
• Partner with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and field locations to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Manage telecommunications-related incidents and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, contract renewals, and telecommunications expense management.
• Evaluate emerging telecommunications technologies and make recommendations based on business needs.
• Ensure telecommunications services and processes align with organizational security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to telecommunications staff and service providers.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets while communicating status to leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing telecommunications environments, vendor relationships, projects, and technical teams, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and IT leadership., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, telecom operations, IT infrastructure, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience managing telecommunications systems, services, vendors, and projects.
• Experience working with enterprise telecommunications environments and multi-location organizations.
• Strong understanding of voice, data, wireless, cellular, networking, and telecommunications technologies.
• Experience with telecommunications carriers and service providers.
• Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. *

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a large enterprise or multi-site organization.
• Experience with telecommunications expense management.
• Experience with VoIP, SIP, UCaaS, wireless, mobile device management, or enterprise voice platforms.
• Experience managing telecom migrations, implementations, and system upgrades.
• ITIL, PMP, or telecommunications-related certifications are a plus. *
