Our mission is to develop maintain and improve Ebury’s Data Platform with a focus on building scalable, robust, and innovative frameworks. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help develop and improve the Data Platform.What we offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageDiscretionary bonus based on performanceContinued personal development through training and certificationWe are Open Source friendly, following Open Source principles in our internal projects and encouraging contributions to external projectsResponsibilities: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of a robust data platform to beconsumed across the companyCollaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionableinsightsDrive innovation and explore emerging technologies to enhance our data capabilitiesEstablish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data qualityand securityAbout you: Proficiency in Python for data transformation and validationProficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets, as well as experienceworking with structured and unstructured data sourcesData engineering and modelling skills such as slowly changing dimensions anddimensional modellingHands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms, includingdesigning and implementing data solutions at scaleSelf-motivation and curiosity, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, continuously improving both technical and business skillsExperience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) tools and services, such as BigQuery,Cloud Run, and Cloud FunctionsFluency in English (Spanish, a plus)If you’re excited about this job opportunity but your background doesn’t match exactly the requirements in the job description, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway.
