Senior Software Engineer

Candid Health is remaking the health insurance claims process with a revenue cycle management (RCM) automation platform built for medical providers, sitting between provider groups and insurers to enable clean payment of everyday claims in a $280B-a-year industry that is fundamentally broken. Founded in 2019, Candid Health has raised $220M+ and serves a fast-growing base of enterprise customers., Candid is hiring Senior Software Engineers (8+ years) to join a high-velocity team building the platform that is remaking how healthcare providers get paid. You will own large areas of product and infrastructure end to end, designing, shipping and scaling complex services that eliminate manual work. The team values strong CS fundamentals and the ability to write production code without leaning on AI tools. What You Will Do

• Design, build and maintain complex services across the stack in Python, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL and GCP.
• Own features from architecture through deployment and production reliability.
• Lead scalability and infrastructure improvements as enterprise usage grows.
• Work with product, design and cross-functional partners on robust solutions.

• 8+ years of software engineering, ideally at fast-growing startups
• Strong CS fundamentals and the ability to code fluently without AI assistance
• Full-stack experience with Python, TypeScript, React and PostgreSQL
