Job description

Aerodyne Industries seeks a Radiofrequency Engineer to support NASA missions from Merritt Island, FL. In this role, you will design, analyze, and test RF systems, antennas, and communication links for human spaceflight and exploration programs. Responsibilities include developing RF architectures, performing link budgets, characterizing performance in lab and field environments, and resolving interference, EMI/EMC, and integration issues. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, generate technical documentation and test plans, and help ensure safe, reliable RF performance for mission-critical space systems., * Design and analyze RF communication systems and architectures for NASA and spaceflight missions

  • Perform link budgets, propagation, and interference analyses for mission-critical RF links
  • Develop and execute RF test plans using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and related equipment
  • Characterize and troubleshoot antennas, RF front-ends, and components in lab and field environments
  • Identify and mitigate EMI/EMC, coexistence, and interference issues
  • Support integration of RF subsystems into larger spacecraft or ground systems
  • Prepare technical reports, requirements documents, and test documentation
  • Collaborate with systems, electrical, and software engineers in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ensure RF system safety, reliability, and compliance with mission and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in RF designs and processes
