System Engineer Juniper Routing and Switching - IPsec-GW At T-Systems, we work on groundbreaking projects that contribute to social and ecological well?being.We welcome new talents who bring fresh ideas, a global perspective, and a passion for continuous learning.T-Systems is a global team of around 28,000 people.We deliver hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence and digital transformation solutions for industry, the public sector and businesses worldwide.At the Telco Hub in Madrid , we pioneer the convergence of IT and telecommunication, building and scaling telco as a platform (TaaP) on our proprietary layered cloud.The MID Squad (11 members) manages the mobile internet access, DDoS protection, converged mobile and fixed internet access, and the business customer IPSec gateway - critical components of our German network.Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of system malfunctions.Identification, documentation, and structuring of new test use cases.Adoption of scripts and configuration parameters within the CI/CD chain.Expert knowledge in IPSec configuration, troubleshooting and debugging - preferably on Junos OS.Expert knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IPv6, QoS) and their troubleshooting - including analysis with Wireshark and Netscout.Basic programming skills in scripting and programming languages (BASH, Python, JINJA2, RESTful APIs).Experience operating business?critical network applications according to ITILv3, preferably in a telecommunications environment.Very good analytical skills combined with strong quality awareness.Experience with classic and agile forms of cooperation.Automation and optimisation of operational tools and processes - especially with Ansible, CI/CD GitLab Pipelines, ELK, CheckMK and Grafana.Hybrid work model (teleworking/on?site).~ Continuous training: preparation for certifications, access to Coursera, weekly English and German classes.~ Flexible compensation plan: health insurance, meal vouchers, childcare, transport assistance.~ Social fund.~ If you are looking for a new challenge, do not hesitate to send us your CV in English .
