Backup Systems Engineer

• 8+ years administering enterprise backup platforms, primarily Commvault.\n
• 5+ years supporting Windows Server environments.\n
• 2+ years supporting VMware vSphere and developing PowerShell scripts.\n
• Experience with Commvault or Rubrik at scale, backup security, and networking fundamentals.\n
• IAT Level II certification and an Operating Environment certification, if required by the contract or client.\n
• Ability to meet the client’s on-site schedule and travel OCONUS up to approximately three times per year.\n, * Commvault, VMware, or Microsoft certifications.\n
• Experience with disaster recovery, storage platforms, tape libraries, key management, or Azure/AWS backup.\n
• CISSP or SSCP certification.\n
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.\n

n \nWork Requirements: This role is based on-site at NIWC Pacific; remote candidates are not being considered.
