Estimator - Data Center - Alabama

Seeking an Estimator with data center construction experience to develop conceptual and hard-bid estimates for mission-critical projects. Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, subcontractor pricing, cost analysis, bid leveling, and preconstruction support. Candidates should have experience estimating ground-up data centers and managing complex MEP-intensive scopes.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends.
• Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs.
• Prepare and present cost analysis and bid proposals to stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the original estimate.

• Experience with cost estimating in the construction industry, particularly in data center projects.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
