SQL DBA

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (Production / Azure) to manage, maintain, and support production database environments, data analytics infrastructure, and cloud data platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring database reliability, high availability, optimal performance, and security across both enterprise on-premises production servers and cloud-hosted environments., * Administer, monitor, configure, and maintain high-volume, mission-critical SQL Server database production environments.

• Maintain database performance, backup/recovery strategies, indexing, integrity checks, and high availability/disaster recovery solutions (including SQL Always On / HA).
• Support and manage cloud-based database operations, specifically within Microsoft Azure database environments.
• Support data warehouse structures and collaborate with teams handling data analytics and reporting workflows.
• Assist in the administration and configuration of Power BI environments and associated datasets.
• Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders on business systems analysis, capacity planning, and database architecture design.
• Troubleshoot production database issues, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks, providing rapid incident resolution and post-mortem analysis.
• Provide professional customer support and technical communication across cross-functional development, infrastructure, and analytics teams.

• 7+ years of dedicated SQL Server Database Administration experience.
• 4+ years of direct experience supporting database administration in 24/7 production server environments.
• 3+ years of experience working with data analytics environments and workflows.
• 1+ years of hands-on Azure Database Administration experience.
• 1+ years of direct experience supporting or designing enterprise Data Warehouses.
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft SQL High Availability (HA) and Always On Availability Groups.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI administration is highly preferred.
• Background in business systems analysis and database design lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.

• All work and provided government-issued equipment must strictly remain within the United States.
• Candidate must be willing and able to report on-site as required for initial fingerprinting and hardware pickup.
