Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions, support platform roadmap planning, collaborate with development and IT teams, and enable marketing operations through reliable marketing technology capabilities., Lifeway is seeking a Senior Marketing Platform Administrator to serve as the in-house subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, driving the strategy, configuration, and continuous improvement of our marketing technology stack. In this role, you will bridge technical platform administration with real business impact - designing scalable solutions, managing critical integrations, and enabling marketing teams to reach and serve the Church more effectively. You will work cross-functionally with development, IT, and business stakeholders in an agile environment where your expertise shapes the platform roadmap from requirements through delivery., * Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
- Limited travel: 2-4 times per year, typically overnight
- Serve as the primary administrator for Lifeway’s marketing platform (currently Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement), owning configuration, maintenance, and governance
- Build and enhance platform features including contact suppression automations, unsubscribe workflows, data lookup toolsets, and audience segmentation capabilities
- Manage integrations between the marketing platform and connected systems including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Form.io, and Snowflake
- Configure and maintain data ingestion pipelines that power audience building and segmentation at scale
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable, best-practice platform solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams to integrate the marketing platform with websites and coordinate a custom preference center
- Configure and maintain data export processes that support reporting, analytics, and data backup strategies
- Proactively monitor platform release updates, security reviews, and health checks to surface new opportunities and flag necessary adjustments
- Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate platform changes to trainers, end users, and stakeholders
- Contribute to platform roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies (standups, backlog grooming, kickoffs, and retros), and coordinate SSO and role management with IT Operations and Security, Leads complex, multi-workstream product initiatives as a principal Product Owner. Owns product vision, strategy, backlog integrity, prioritization, and Scrum team alignment. Coordinates Product, Engineering, Design, Delivery, and other stakeholders; improves execution discipline, transparency, and outcome tracking. Stabilizes programs with fragmented ownership or elevated delivery risk while ensuring customer and business requirements are addressed. Requires substantial Product Owner or Senior Product Manager experience, preferably in payments or financial services., Leads revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, collections, audit readiness, and financial controls. Owns ASC 606 compliance, billing systems, process automation, AI-enabled accounting improvements, reporting, and cross-functional alignment. Manages and mentors the accounting team while supporting scalable revenue operations and public-company readiness. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, required
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, preferred
Advanced graduate degree (PhD, etc.), not required
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, required
- Ability to travel to the Middle Tennessee area 2-4 times annually for team gatherings
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement or a comparable enterprise marketing platform
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or another CRM platform
- Proficiency in SQL for complex joins, data normalization, and segmentation queries
- Familiarity with Server-Side JavaScript and Cloudpages for connecting REST and SOAP APIs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering practical, durable solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in a cross-functional environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an agile sprint environment
Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, preferred
- Experience with AMPScript for dynamic content and personalization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms
- Experience configuring single sign-on (SSO) integrations and managing platform roles and permissions, Leads revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, collections, audit readiness, and financial control operations. Ensures ASC 606 and GAAP compliance, manages billing platforms and ERP integrations, drives automation and AI adoption, develops scalable processes, partners cross-functionally, reports financial metrics, and supervises accounting staff. Requires extensive revenue accounting and billing experience in SaaS or software, management expertise, and strong technical accounting knowledge.
