A/V Integration Project Manager

• Lead all phases of A/V integration projects from planning through closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Establish project success criteria, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that may affect schedule, cost, quality, or client satisfaction.
• Lead project kickoff meetings with clients, sales, engineering, installation, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Manage change orders, scope changes, submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
• Ensure complete project closeout, including as-built documentation, final deliverables, and lessons learned.

Technical & A/V Oversight

• Work closely with engineering, programming, procurement, and installation teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Provide project-level oversight of professional A/V systems, including:
• Audio and video systems
• Signal flow
• Control systems
• DSPs
• Video distribution
• Audio reinforcement
• Conferencing systems
• Networking fundamentals
• Ensure design intent and technical standards are properly implemented in the field.
• Coordinate with installation teams and subcontractors to resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Understand construction methods, low-voltage systems, and jobsite requirements.

Client & Team Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong communication and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and installation partners.
• Coordinate staffing and resource requirements with installation leadership.
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions when project challenges arise.
• Partner closely with Sales to ensure effective project handoffs and ongoing client satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and internal teams.

Financial & Operational Management

• Monitor project revenue, costs, margins, and financial performance.
• Track project expenses and identify potential cost overruns or financial risks.
• Ensure project resources and associate costs remain aligned with approved proposals and statements of work.
• Monitor project profitability and escalate financial concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, workbooks, trackers, and reporting.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in project post-mortems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend improvements to project management processes, tools, and workflows.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration between Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Installation teams.
• Help establish and maintain project management best practices., needs. The ideal candidate combines strong professional A/V technical knowledge with proven project management experience and the ability to effectively coordinate clients, engineers, programmers, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams., * 4+ years of project management experience in A/V integration or a related industry.

• Strong technical understanding of professional A/V systems.
• Experience with A/V control systems such as Crestron, AMX, Biamp, or Extron.
• Knowledge of DSPs, video distribution, audio reinforcement, conferencing platforms, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, low-voltage systems, and jobsite safety.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel.
• Experience with project management software such as Wrike or equivalent.
• Familiarity with AIA project documentation, including drawings, submittals, change orders, and schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project/job sites as required., * AVIXA CTS or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Q360.
• Experience managing complex commercial A/V integration projects.
• Experience working directly with executive-level clients and stakeholders.
• Strong financial and project profitability management experience.
• Experience working closely with Sales teams on project handoffs and client relationships.
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work environment with a combination of office and remote work.
• Regular travel to client locations and project/job sites may be required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasional walking, reaching, and lifting of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds.
